When the Client Services statistics for 2007 arrived at my office I was astonished to learn that only 9% of the clients we saw in the Pregnancy Services department could not claim a church home. Granted, perhaps many of them were “C and E people” (those that go only on Christmas and Easter), but the fact remains that 91% of our clients last year could name a particular church to be “theirs.”
What does this mean?
For me it means that the PRC is acting as a self-healing agent in the Body of Christ. We know that the consequences of premarital sex, unplanned pregnancy and abortion are as prominent inside the church body as they are without. I thank God that the PRC was there for these clients. In addition to building the Church of Jesus Christ, the PRC is there to also serve it, as well.

Jim thanks for sharing this information, It still floors me how blind we in the church can be to our own internal problems.
Praise God that the PRC is here, is working - in, through, and for the church.
