Shocking Abortion Statistics

Did you know that Grand Rapids, the City of Churches, has another, ill-famed alias: West Michigan’s Regional Center for Abortion?

It’s true. Grand Rapids holds this dubious distinction because western and northern Michigan communities without abortion services send women here to terminate their unplanned pregnancies.

Ponder the absurdity of this: each year thousands of people, many who say they are Christians, travel to the City of Churches to end the life of their unborn child created in God’s image.

But thanks to our many friends and supporters, the Pregnancy Resource Center is here to represent the heart of the Father – the HEART that cries out to His little ones, “I love you and I care about you, no matter who you are!” The heart of truth and love!

We represent the Father’s heart as we talk truth about some pretty tough subjects. We also work with tough situations – families and individuals caught in the middle of “their worst nightmare.”

We represent the Father’s heart as we meet hurting people right where they are! And we are making a difference!

In fact, by the end of 2010, our 25th anniversary year, we look forward to celebrating 3,000 lives saved from abortion as a direct result of God’s presence in and through the Pregnancy Resource Center!
